During the one day, trainer-led classroom session, you will learn:
1. The Accounting Equation;
2. Double Entry Bookkeeping including understanding Debits & Credits;
3. Principles of VAT (Value Added Tax);
4. Types of business transactions, including Assets, Liabilities, Income, Expenditure, Capital, Drawings, etc.;
5. Types of ledgers including Sales Ledger, Purchases Ledger, Nominal Ledger, etc.;
6. Recording transactions in “T” accounts;
7. Balancing off accounts;
8. Preparing a Trial Balance;
9. Profit & Loss (Income Statement);
10. Balance Sheet (Statement of Financial Position).
